Third Annual Summer Mental Health Carnival: Let us Help you Find your Couch!
Third Annual Summer Mental Health Carnival: Let us Help you Find your Couch!
Our previous Mental Health Carnivals have been successful. We have been able to bring mental health awareness to the Springfield community in the last two years. Our initiative shines a light on mental health awareness, celebrates those who support individuals on their journey, and financially supported local Black women and men to “find their couch”. With your support this year, we will be able to expand our focus and resources to the Latinx community. Please consider sponsoring this necessary and meaningful initiative.
Coppedge Consulting, LLC’s mission includes engaging and partnering with the community because that is the most authentic form of togetherness and growth, therefore collaborating with local POC-owned and operated mental health organizations is critical.

“While everyone-all colors- is affected by stigma-no one wants to say ‘I’m not in control of my mind.’ No one wants to say, ‘The person I love is not in control of [their] mind.’
But people of color really don’t want to say it because we already feel stigmatized by virtue of skin color or eye shape or accent and we don’t want any more reasons for anyone to say, ‘You’re not good enough.”
